We love living near the beach. Being so close to the sea and all that sand, puts us in a different kind of mindset & time appears to stop when we dip our toes in the water!
The beach-front Gloucester House, is literally a “stone’s throw” from Weymouth’s Blue Flag sandy beach; crowned the Best Beach in Britain 2023 by Times & Sunday Times and Tripadvisor Travellers' Choice revealed Weymouth beach was one of Europe's top 25 beaches, for its clear waters, miles of sand and perfect sunset views.
Time is an invention. It tells us where to be, how fast to go, when to arrive, how to get things done. Gloucester House doesn't understand time. It tells the clock to stand still. Switch off. It is a moment to stop and discover.

As a guest of Gloucester House, we are certain you will enjoy our Dorset breakfast which is locally sourced and freshly cooked. But don’t just take our word for it, we have again been awarded a 2022 Breakfast Award by the AA. Vegetarian and vegan options are available.

Gloucester House is a stunning bed and breakfast situated on Weymouth’s seafront, over looking the beach and only a few minutes walk from the town and venues such as the theatre and cinema. There are a variety of restaurants and pubs within a short walk. Our location is perfectly situated close to all the attractions, events and activities to suit all your requirements and located perfectly for all that Weymouth and Dorset has to offer
