A little about Gloucester House PDF Print E-mail

Gloucester House is believed to have been built in 1790 as a rather grand residence becoming a hotel as late as the 1960's. It is now a grade two listed building and forms part of  the Esplanade, Weymouth's superb sweeping seafront with spectacular uninterrupted views of the bay.

The resident proprietors, Geoff and Christine Saxton, offer accommodation with bed and breakfast in a relaxed and friendly atmosphere making your stay comfortable and enjoyable, leaving you with a wish to return.
 
Gloucester House is ideally situated for Weymouth beach which is literally across the road. The town centre is on our door step and both the railway station and bus station are two minutes level walk away. Greenhill Gardens, Lodmoor Park, Nothe Fort and Gardens and the charming Harbour are all within a  ten minute walk.

We are able to offer free secure parking for motorbikes and cycles.

 
We have a selection of rooms to suit most requirements. All rooms are en-suite with shower or bath, flat screen TV with freeview, tea/coffee making facilities and radio/alarm clock. Several rooms have a sea view, some enjoying a balcony.

You can sit, relax and enjoy the wonderful views across the bay from your own Guest Lounge.
