Bennetts Water Gardens

World famous national collection of water lilies, displayed within 6 acres of landscaped lakes. Tropical house, replica 'Monet' Bridge, museum, shop and plant centre, tea room.

 

  

Lodmoor Country Park

Just a 15 minute stroll from the town along the Esplanade and through the beautiful Greenhill Gardens is Weymouth's 350 acre Lodmoor Country Park. Close by is the family entertainment area which has a Pirates Crazy Golf course, Model World as well as a Leisure Ranch with a Cresta Run, Go-Kart circuit and Bumper Boats. Also situated in the park is the Rio Grande Railway, a model railway that circles the events area at Lodmoor, which is open to visitors throughout the summer season. For the budding Golfers there is a 9-Hole Pitch and Putt, which is also open throughout the summer season. 

 

  

Deep Sea Adventure

This fascinating family attraction tells the story of underwater exploration from the 17th century. It houses one of the World's Foremost Titanic Exhibitions as well as 'Sharkey's' an all-weather kids adventure play zone.

 

 

The Nothe Fort

A restored Victorian Fort housing a dramatic representation of its time and history. See the military models and displays; explore the gundecks and magazines; enjoy the spectacular views.

 

 

Weymouth Sea Life Park

 

Weymouth Sea Life Park has a unique mix of indoor and  outdoor attractions which make it a great family day out. Set in landscaped grounds, the park offers close encounters with marine life from sharks to seals and seahorses to otters. New for 2011 Penguins!! 

 

 

Radipole Lake Nature Reserve (RSPB)

Visit one of England's largest reedbeds containing three species of nationally threatened birds, Cettis Warbler, Bearded Tit and Bittern. Set within over 250 acres of natural habitat, Radipole is a great place for the family or the keen twitcher!
